Coventry is located in Northwest Harris County.  It is south of the Woodlands off of Kuykendahl.  It is the subdivision that you drive through to get to Augusta Pines Golf Club.  It is located a mile off of Kuykendahl, you take Augusta Pines Blvd. to the stop sign.; you will see the Coventry Club house at the entrance to the subdivision.  It is conveniently located just 5 minutes from the Woodlands; with easy access to I-45.

Coventry is not part of Augusta Pines.  With only about 300 homes it is a relatively small subdivision.With a history going back to the early 80’s the subdivision really did not take off until the late 1990’s and early in 2000. You still get a little bit of a country atmosphere in that the subdivision has fairly large lots and each home has their own yard light.  There are not street lights within the subdivision.  It does stay fairly well it with the yard lights.

The two builders for the homes built in the 1990's were Royce & Hampton.  They range in size from 1600 to 3200 square feet.   The homes that were built in the 1980's were a bit larger and range in size form 2800 to 3700 square feet. There are towering pines, oaks and sweet gums through out the subdivision.  The builder tried to keep as many trees as they could. 

The club house was recently renovated by the HOA.  They added a full kitchen and totally renovated the outside keeping the beautiful original stone and updating with hardy plank.  A pavilion was added in front of the swimming pool; this makes for a nice place to relax and talk with neighbors in the shade. Cement walk ways were also added.  Next door to the clubhouse a playground was added with benches to watch your children play.

Home sales currently fall in the $125,000 to $200,000 range. The subdivision is in the highly acclaimed Klein ISD. The high school is Klein Oak, the intermediate is Hildebrandt and the grade school is Metzler.
